Where to start on this long overdue posting...
Spent a few extra days in P-bo. due to Chris being delayed. First he was delayed by Mr. George Clooney's busy schedule and then delayed by his gallbladder's need to be removed. Yes, Chris has experienced the joy of the American hospital system and has come home slightly lighter (one organ, exactly), slightly more hairless (due to a nice belly shave-job) and hopefully no poorer (go insurance go!). It was a slightly disconcerting to get a raving, morphine-soaked phone call from a delirious husband screeching that either "the doctors'll take it out or I would!"
He's fine now, thank goodness. Much thanks is due to our wonderful friends Martin and Martina who are conveniently located in L.A. and took time out of their busy week to babysit the patient and keep his crazed wife informed of proceedings. (Yes, I'm forgiving you both for the burrito that broke the camel's back).
Charley has been much less dramatic. He's had a great visit home, discovered boating and hammocks and perfected the art of the jolly-jumper.
Here's an update:

I'm glad that Chris's back in your care, and the Canadian health care system's! Again, very sorry about the Mexican food.
