Spring fever!

Okay, so I've have no excuses for the long delay... except I really did misplace the camera... and the cord. I've found them now and actually managed to find the time to take a few shots this week, despite the onset of the evil, angry teething monster. Molars this time. So much pain... for all of us.

And there's another new trend afoot. Now, I warn you.. don't read this aloud during dinner or anything like that. I'm afraid Charley has discovered the relaxing properites of the bath. The splashing, the warmth, the bubbles... well, I'm afraid it's lead to him discovering the joys of pooping in the tub. It's happened many times this week and it's never, ever pleasant. You have to ask yourself, if you notice the tell-tale signs of imminent poop do you leave the child in the tub, or take them out? Such a tough question... and even tougher under pressure. Tonight I decided "I'll keep him in his chair until he does his business, and then I will avoid the tub-defiling!". Clever, clever, clever, am I!

So I feed him and wait patiently until the diaper is full. I stripped the offending diaper and plunked him triumphantly into the awaiting tub.

Yes, you guessed it. There was a poo-reserve. Sigh. At least I discovered the quick cleaning properties of the shower. He seemed to like it, so maybe we'll graduate to him sitting in the shower and avoid the curse of the warm water tubby time.

Okay, now some well deserved pictures to cleanse your poor imaginations.

p.s. Melissa (Chris' sister, for those who don't know her) is currently in labour and delivering very shortly. A new cousin for Charley to teach his bad habits to.

Two best friends:
