Weekend fun, part 1

Well, sing praises and dance with jubilation: Charley seems to be on the mend. I realize I am cursing myself be saying this, but after a few better days, I can't help but think my old boy is back! He slept reasonably well the last few nights and I'm feeling much more sane.

Decided to enjoy spring in the city yesterday and took a walk with our wee family (including Uncle Phil).

Stopped for lunch at Johnny and Guidos... deeelicious. Chicago style beef with provolone. mmmmm

Chris liked it too:

Decided it was high-time to get Charley's picture taken with my favourite (and Phil's favourite) statue in town. Not sure what its real name is, but we have named it "Hats for sale", and holler it every time we are in the vicinity. Charley was good and wedged in his stroller, but peeked out like a sport.

Then it was on to the tulips which are a bit past their prime. My photo is not an award winner.
Charley seems to be saying: "Mom, too much ugly foreground and, for goodness sake, try not to get the portapotties in the background!"

Phil did a much better job:

And now, especially for Martina: Couldn't help but think of you when I saw this sign. Do you think it would make the cut on your site?
I call it: "Do you think they have parts?"

Updates later. Another busy day planned for today.

Your picture made me laugh in my private 'parts'.

What do they carry? The mystery!
