I'm pretty tired and sore, but delighted to be home with all my boys. I'm very glad that my mom is here for a few more days as I'm under strict instructions to not do anything for a while except look after Sammy. The doctors and nurses said that the swelling and bruising I have (from the "wrenching" out of that huge head) is the worst they've ever seen. Well... nice to be remembered for being 'special'! I'm sure my abdomen will fade from it's current lovely maroon colour to a nice flesh tone eventually.
There's too much to say and too many people to thank for tonight, so let me just add a few photos and update you better in the next few days.
Smooches from a mother of two. (!!!)
Reunion with my big boy: We're still friends... phew!
Ol' zombie arms:
Lil' devil out playing in his snow fort:
And, because you KNOW I love a comparison shot... Here's Charley during his first week, looking quite crabby:
And here's Sammy at 3 days. There is something there that's similar... but you can sure tell that Sammy "cooked" a while longer than my wee preemie boy above:
Oh my goodness! Isn't he just the most handsome wee baby!! I'm quite in love...

I guess your public will accept you back - I think they were loving my stint as guest blogger! Am glad you're home - give the boys a kiss for me!
Well, that abdomen may be purple, but you're doing a great job fooling us -- you look AWESOME, Lady! Glad you're home with your merry men, love the new "sketch" to the right (featuring the family o' four), and yes, he is a most gorgeous baby, indeed. Hugs to all of you, and an extra little squeeze to Charley, because I miss him :).
Hey there chickie pooh; congratulations on your little man! He sure is baked to perfection...job well done. It seems as though you are full of energy (I am not surprised). I hope you are able to get some rest and that your belly isn't tooo uncomfortable. Take care, Love Melinda.
