A new name for spring!

I thought it time to re-name the blog to reflect life with two boys. Officially, I think "Chuck Wagon's world" was still appropriate, because wasn't I the chuck wagon?? (The address will remain the same, however, because changing it would be waaaay too complicated).

Anyway, the new name is good too. Perhaps the British reader's could explain why their version of this poem goes "Snips and snails and puppy dog's tails"? I don't know what a 'snip' is, but I'm sure their version is the original.

While searching for "boy" images to update the site, I found many interesting things. "Leave it to Beaver" won out, but here are some other fun pictures I found:

Hannah is here, so I must go and do a few things while I have the help. Like bathe poor Sammy, who needs a good scrub. Luckily, little new babies don't get tooo dirty.

I'll try to get new photos later. I swear, Sammy is about 11 lbs by now. He's actually getting heavy!

Hey there, you got me wondering about this one so I looked up the meaning of the nursery rhyme. Apparently it is believed that the original version was "snips of snails" meaning bits of snails. Kind of gross but lots of nursery rhymes are from the good old days. I hope you are having a great Birthday, Melinda.
