Happy Birthday to Devon!

Devon's birthday party was today... she's 5 already! Her shameful, shameful aunt (ie: me) didn't get any photos of her at her party, as we were hanging in the under 4 zone and, clearly, she was kickin' it with the big kids. Hopefully, her lovely parents will send me a photo to post of the birthday girl. I did get a couple shots of the boys playing in the ball pit. When I say "boys" I mean Charley and Hayden, not Sammy. He's not quite big enough yet.



Charley was digging the slide, but ever the cautious one, he went with the 'safety first' policy:

"Hmm... looks far..."

"This seems like a good way down".
"Wheeeeeeee!"

Here's the wee man. Oh, he gained 16 ounces in 7 days this week. He's pushing 12 pounds already. His cheeks are the widest part of his head. This cute shot was taken yesterday, before he sprouted the beginnings of the dreaded baby acne. This is balanced out by the fact that he started smiling this week! He's such a genius!
That's all for now. Must go and get Mr. Charley ready for bed and keep Mr. Sam-Sam happy and me sane. That's a tall order!
