Sam's been to the doctor where I was told he has a throaty cold and cough, but that his wee lungs are fine. That's great, because I didn't really want to do pneumonia on my own, but of course the treatment is "wait it out". Yeah, I've been doing that for a week and now I'm sick too, exhausted and still listening to cough, cough, cough all night long. Maybe he'll be cured by tomorrow?? Pleeeeease??
Charley's had another amusing word day... highlights included him repeating "bummer" after I remarked on something and then he called me "Lee". Other words, which seem totally random, are buddy, lemon, leg, broom, pea, muff (for muffin), etc. It's pretty funny listening to him. He said "nap" today and ran to his bed. Who am I to argue with a child who asks to go to sleep?
Here are some family shots from today. I thought we'd better hang out together since a 2 week daddy-absence is a long time for little boys.
Yes! I know we should have a helmet for Charley, but as he can't actually ride this yet, I think we can be forgiven. Plus, you KNOW we'll have to shop in the adult size helmet area for him. Har har har...

Hmmm, what to do next?
The horror!
That's another day done for me, folks. Off to grasp some sleep.
