Lovely, lovely weather here. Summer is great, especially when you live somewhere that has so many places to go out and enjoy it. We have 3 wading pools, a couple splash pads and a few regular pools within a few minutes walk. This is important when you have a boy like Charley who would rather be in the water than out of it. This afternoon we'll go over to one of the wading pools with the boys. It'll be nice when they are a bit older, because Charley requires two hands and that leaves Sammy all alone (or vice-versa) so I need another adult along to avoid baby neglect/toddler submerges.
All is well here. Sammy is calming down a little after a few weeks of bad night behaviour. I think it's safe to say that he will not be the good little sleeper that Charley has been. I just don't think Sam needs as much sleep... he's rarin' to go all the time!
Charley has been chatting up a storm. This week's word favourites are cookie, cake, salami and Kizzy. Too hilarious.
Here are a few shots of the boys:
Charley sporting a tough ponytail. In my defence, he asked for the 'do.

Mom and baby hands:

Did I mention that Kismet is back? She's full of country spirit and sassiness.

Sam eyes his Sophie giraffe:

His inevitable position if I try and make him have tummy time. He just finds it to be too much work! Laaaaazy.

Here he is in full crazy-baby mode. He's a brute!
