Alooooooooooone...

Yesterday was one of those sad, long, feel-sad-for-myself days. I had a bad night's sleep and started quite early with the two boys. Charley was in a screechy, "I'm sick of your face" mood and was asking after his Daddy. Sammy had a bit of a tummy-ache and filled his bouncy chair with baby poo at an inopportune moment. (When IS the right moment, one asks?) Kismet was just looking at me, with big, brown doggy-eyes and shaking her fuzzy head.

Being just Saturday, I was sighing and wondering how I would survive until Friday p.m. on my lonesome.

I decided to pack up the boys and go and buy a lottery ticket. Haven't checked it yet, but figured 36 million dollars would perk me right up.

Had a better sleep last night, and Charley is going to brekkie with the grandparents this a.m., so I'm feeling better about today. Plus, Hannah is back tomorrow morning, which always puts a smile on my face.

These photos also put a smile on my face. Oh! the scenes one sees with two young boys.
Charley was saying "fuzzy fuzzy fuzzy" during this shot.

A gentle hand guides Sam's head my way.
Charley was saying "love Sam", but I think Sam was saying "get off my freakin' stomach".
Here is Charley, from one minute ago, dressed and ready for breakfast. Is there anything more sad than a 2 year old trying to be patient?

I can just feel Auntie Yumyum's heart breaking looking at this photo!
