Folly! Farm! Fun!

It's getting to feel like a long time ago, these fun, Wales days. We had a very fun day visiting Folly Farm, which I found out is Wales' top paid attraction. Well, we got our money's worth, that's for sure.

And it provided me with my very favourite photo of the trip. That is unadulterated joy. Perhaps Devon will have to have a baby goat now?

In addition to feeding the animals, we saw:

Lemurs:

A fuzzy pony:

Giraffes:

And, my personal favourite, the Macaque monkeys:

Let me just zoom in on that sign for you...

Now, to many, this would seem a warning and a call for cautious behaviour. For young boys, it's a call to a challenge. They read the "direct eye contact" part and decide to test it out for themselves. Indeed, it seems, they interpret it as agression as the Big Daddy Macaque had quite a show-down with Iestyn.

This was where Owain almost pee'd his pants:

Not the prettiest creatures, but it sure made for a big laugh. Remember guys??!!

And there was more.

Charley found a train. Big surprise.

Iestyn, looking a bit too comfortable in the driver's seat:

Owain parties it up. Or is that a cry for help due to the driving?

Boys on the dragon.

And my very favourite picture of Charley from the trip:

Packing here today getting ready for the next trip. And the boys are just back on track sleep-wise. Oh well, at least I didn't have to put the suitcase and laundry away... just right back into the case!
