The Jones' senior arrived yesterday for a visit. They drove through full-fledged winter to get here, having flown to Calgary. The weather here is crazy! Summer last week and now chance of snow! They tell me that they were de-icing planes in Calgary when they landed there. Ew.
Busy busy here. Chris got home late Sunday night from his fun and merriment in Lennoxville/Ottawa.
Charley had quite an event on Saturday when he had a major allergic reaction to something unknown. This happened at the park and seemingly out of nowhere. I was there with both boys and the bike, so not really a good situation for a major attack. He swelled up like crazy and was complaining about his mouth hurting, so you'd better believe I deserted all my stuff and bolted out of the park and into the minivan of a nice samaritan man. We drove to the paramedics station just up the road just to be sure. Charley recovered quickly and didn't require anything but Benadryl, but at the time it was quite scary. His ears and hands were twice their normal size!
Still don't know what it was and he continues to have hives on and off since then. I met a nice doctor here, so I'm going to give her a call and get her advice on what to do.
Always exciting with two boys in tow!
So, between allergy explosions and in-laws arriving, not many photos to post. Here's one, post-breakfast the other day. They were watching some classic Sesame Street clip and having a laugh. Probably this one, 'cuz it's my all-time favourite. Oh Joe Raposo! How I love thee!
Did you smile like this when you watched it?
Quality stuff. Love the cereal debris on Charley's front.
