Fun in the winter sun

I'm certainly not the biggest fan of winter, but when winter's are like the last few days in Ontario (sunny, just below freezing..) you can imagine that winter could be fun.

The boys enjoyed themselves greatly out of doors today.  Charley was out for 2 hours, had soaking wet socks and still had to be coerced to come in with the promise of hot cocoa.  (His phrase, not mine.  I guess 'hot chocolate' is to banal for his vocabulary)

Sammy discovered the joy of the hammock today.  He was not wont to get out.

I almost killed myself hauling Charley around in the sled.  I did, at one point, kind of lose hold of him and he slid about 200 metres straight down the hill with me chasing after him smiling and waving, but screaming on the inside 'oh please don't hit a tree!".  He didn't and declared it to be great 'fun'.

Red cheeked boys recover from the outing with a little snuggle and Dora time.

It's 8:30 now and I think I've lost both parents to their beds.  They really put in the hours today and, as you know, there's always more fun coming tomorrow!

I hear from Chris that he's having a great time, smoking and buying many cigars and imbibing in a few mojitos.  These trips are obviously good for him, but they work out okay for me too, because he always comes home from them saying 'oh, you're the best wife!".  Well, I can't argue with that!

Lovely, quiet evening.  Might go retire myself!
