Have returned from a lovely week in Peterborough. It was so great to have the whole family together, because it doesn't happen very often! Charley enjoyed himself greatly and really 'thrived' on having multiple babysitters. I don't think he had to spend a single moment out of someone's arms all week. Poppa J (aka Jimmy) is the uber-grandpa and was the master of the gas-releasing hold (shown in the picture). Auntie Nayna (aka Sarah) stayed on UK time and was up every morning at 5:30 or so to take the wee man away from me and let me sleep. Granny, G-Granny, Uncle Ben, Auntie Kristin and Auntie Em all enjoyed him greatly, especially in the few awake moments where he was smiling and fun (and not gas-cranky). Even the dogs all behaved themselves.
I think Chris was glad to see us back and exclaimed that Charley had grown yet again.
Just a few photos attached to show some of the fun. I'll have to do another posting to do it justice... so many good shots from this week. I like the shot where it shows how much 'female' influence lil' Charley will have. And the great shot of him lounging in the doll cradle made by his G-grandpa Jackie. Jack would have LOVED to see that.
