A mish-mash

Here are some previously unposted shots. Such a gloomy day today! Cold, rainy and, I'm afraid, a sign of things to come. Boooo! November is the worst month, isn't it? Luckily, we're going away for a week in November, so at least I'll miss one week. Might as well squeeze a trip in before New Baby arrives. Might be a while before another (trip that is, not to mention baby...).

Charley loves his new rubber boots:

Reeeeally loves them. Here he is getting a closer look at them.

This is a shot from the Peterborough Zoo. Yes, it's sooo exciting there that they have trained carp in the river. And they're HUGE! I don't think the picture is doing them justice... they were twice as long as the duck and looked like they weighed about 40 lbs. Sooo ugly.
Here, Aunty Nayna and Charley check out the duck-carp battle action. You won't skip the Peterborough Zoo next time you're in town, will ya?! (Oh, but the carp food vending machine stole our 10 cents... so no kibble for the fishies from us).
