Splashy

Sam is a Pisces, just like his brother. I'm not a big subscriber to the horoscope thing, but Charley has always been a big fan of all things water-related and it seems that Sam is just as keen.

Here he is, enjoying a sink bath yesterday. I don't think I need to tell you how much of a flood there was from this activity.

Hmmm... wall water.

"I am an intense wee splasher man!!"

The pictures just weren't capturing the passion and exuberance for me, so here's a video clip. I don't know why, but I find it to be the funniest video of him yet!

He can churn up some SE-rious bubbles, as you can see. Sam is a baby who does everything full-tilt. He just makes me laugh.

In Charley news: He went for his final speech assessment today and graduated from the program! He's gone from essentially silent in March to the world's biggest chatterbox in November. Success? I guess so...

He greeted the therapist with a hearty "Nice to see ya!" today, much to her surprise. It didn't hurt that he also used the words "absolutely", "tractor trailer" and "hospital". Not too shabby!

I finally got to meet wee baby Renn yesterday. I'm going to call him "wee" while I can, because at 10 days, he's already broken the 10 lb barrier. He's huge and long fingered and beautiful. I'm so glad Melissa is feeling better and that they can dive into the "2 boy household" with vigour. I know just how she feels...
