What is it with this family and their huge babies?! I thought Sam was a chunky one, but I think the two newbies are both beating his girth.
Some photos:
Jaime, the "well-nourished" almost 4 month old.
Renn (also well-nourished) at almost 5 months:
Two boys on the naughty step.
3 dudes:
Happy kids and eggs. Devon was the master finder.
Charley was puzzled by the whole thing. I'm sure by next year he'll have a better idea what's going on.
Sam got to hold an egg. Excitement in the 13 month old world:
Renn is such a little monkey. I say, "don't encourage his early standing!". The sooner he stands, the sooner he runs around. I keep telling Sammy to take his tiiiiime.
Thanks to the NG crew for the fun.
Beautiful sunny loveliness today. Walked with the boys and hit the library (just for a change). This brings me to the loss of my reading list from the sidebar. I don't understand how I have time to read the books, but not list them once I'm done. So, I've decided to just mention books that I'm reading that I'm also enjoying.
I've just finished a non-fiction book, if you can believe it. It's not that I don't read non-fiction... I mean I check out seemingly millions of travel, cooking, nature, art, design, etc. books all the time. But this was an actual read-it memoir type non-fiction book, and I read it all the way through. Very enjoyable and funny. Felt like I knew the author right away. It's called Practically Perfect in Every Way, by Jennifer Niesslein. Read more here. (Nay, this is one you'd enjoy.)
I also just finished On the Jellicoe Road, by Melina Marchetta. Now, it's YA, which I'm kind of obsessed with and you may not be, but it did win the Printz Award last year. Read more here.
Finally, the last item of the day. Here's a picture of my daddio, circa 1948-ish and I think this is just what Sammy is going to look like. Actually, I kind of think he already looks like this a bit. Minus the ears, of course... (Not that there's anything wrong with your ears, Jimmy!)
