Happy trails, parrr-dner

Okay. Done. Well, almost.

Chris is in Missoula setting up our new house and we Easterners are putting the final touches on packing and cleaning up here. As I do that, the construction workers are setting a feverish pace to finish up outside before I go. Oh, it's not because they are honourable and want to see a job well done... no it's so we'll PAY them. Nice that they put a good work day in today... Could have used that 3 or 4 weeks ago. Sigh. Oh well, I'm outta here. I'm sure Phil will enjoy the fruits of their labour.

One more meal (consisting of Greek on Wheels, of course) and then one more sleep and then up pre-dawn for a day of travel. If all goes well, we'll be settled in early afternoon Missoula time. (I think it's mountain time... 2 hours behind us).

Here are the results of my efforts to get the boys into the 'cowboy' spirit. (Many thanks to Alison for the headgear... they've been well used this week!)

Yee-haw!

Sheriff Charley:

Wild rider.

Lil' Outlaw won't wear the hat. Note worker man in the background. I think I'll hear hammering and sanding and drills for weeks, just ringing in my ears.

And, please don't ask... I don't know why Sam never has clothes on. He just likes it that way. It's either filthy clothing or grimey skin, and I say skin is more wipeable.
So, we're mosey-ing off to the West. Check back soon for updates.
S'long.
