Tick, tick, tick

Time is almost up. We leave very, very early on Friday morning, so my hours for cleaning, organizing and packing are coming to an end.


Chris called last night from Montana! I can't believe what a driving ace he is. He's a day ahead of schedule. At one point yesterday, as he was driving through North Dakota, he could see for miles in every direction. And what did he see? Sunflowers. Millions and millions of sunflowers. Sounds dreamy. He's well into the mountains now, and hopefully taking possession of our new place today.


Not much news here. The deck and porch are done. Many other things are not done and won't get done until we're home again (new doors, etc). Just ran out of time.


The boys are their usual crazy selves. I think they were missing daddy yesterday and found the closest thing to him:



Being a second-born, Sam-news does not get the play it deserves. Have I mentioned that he started walking on July 31? I would have posted 3 seconds after it happened when Charley did it, but that's life.
