It was a long way to come, but we had a great, short visit with them.
The credenza arrives, and Sam supervises the unloading.
We had some of the usual fun:
Charley talks some trains.
A little session of 'push the baby in the truck'.
Some general pouting about coming inside.
And then they left!
They left some furniture lighter, but about 17 pounds heavier in fur.
Yep. Guess who hitched a lift back to doggy-paradise and didn't even glance back!? Ungrateful mongrel. Here is Miss Kismet today admiring Evy's shiny coat.
She won't be there long because I'm planning a visit to Peterborough this weekend. The big boys (ie: Chris and Phil) are off on their (almost) annual Cuba fun-weekend, so not much point of hanging around here without my hubby and my buddy. Hope they have fun and don't smoke too many cigars and don't get too hungover or too sunburnt.
Jerks.
