Demo, debris and re-gluing

Another busy week gone by. Chris has spent nearly every waking hour over the last week smashing, hauling and sweating out front. He's ripped off the garage, the steps, the gate and the walkway and hauled most of it to the backyard. This includes about 75 concrete blocks from the garage structure. The ordeal has left him a bit bruised, sore and grouchy. I think the lesson is: pay for demolition. The crew is due to arrive Tuesday to start the re-building, so it's all systems go!

Normal chaos here. Charley bopped his chin again on Wednesday, which required a trip to the clinic to re-stick the poor, abused chinny. It actually seems mostly healed today, so I guess he'll survive this one.

Here he is drinking Ovaltine (which he calls 'coffee') like the little weiner that he is.

This photo, when clicked upon, shows the chin bandage and the left-over forehead bruise nicely. It's a good thing they're made of healable rubber at this age.

Just being a monkey. With chopped bangs care of mummy.

Now this shot is just a laugh. Here is Boxer Sam, taking a square shot to the beak by his opponent, the faucet. Ouch.

And here he is, fist cocked, wet and happy. Sam - 1, faucet - 0.

Oh, and the house. You should see the looks on people's faces when they walk by our place. (I can see this clearly now, as there's no deck to get in the way of seeing the looks of horror.)

As you can see, we are using the back door at this point. I'm sure the boys wouldn't mind the leap off the porch into a dirt pile, but I prefer the walk-around.

Too rainy at the moment to get a shot from the street, but I'll take one later for full effect.

That's the report from here. How're YOU doing?
