Friends of my sister, who are also my friends, had terrible, terrible news this week. The adoption agency they've been working with in Toronto has declared bankruptcy and their years of work and thousands of dollars are in serious jeopardy. Of course I don't need to mention that there's a beautiful baby waiting for them in Ethiopia as well, who would be so lucky to have these people as parents.
